Greetings friends,
I have been hard at work these days, having been hit by an overwhelming amount of session work and I am enjoying every minute of it.  Lately, I have performing with gospel artist, Lettrice Lawrence; roots rock/blues band, The Bruce Sanborn Band; and heavy hitters Suns of Defiance.  Be sure to check their websites (located in the “links” section) for upcoming shows, or feel free to check my facebook page where I will keep you updated!  Figured Out has started to release some of their tracks.  You can check out their recording of “Blue(gressive)” as well as a live clip of Lettrice Lawrence performing “Always  Family” in the “Music” section.  Enjoy!  I am also currently collaborating with singer/songwriter/saxophonist/guitarist/monster musician Kyle Boomer.  We are currently writing an album’s worth of material and will be hitting the studio in the coming months.
Stay thirsty for music, friends!

I have been hard at work at these past few months.  Today I wrapped up recording 17 songs with Figured Out.  We will be showcasing at the Roxy on May 27th where I will be debuting a drum setup that includes djembes, congas, tabla, and aluminum trashcans.  First 40 guests get bags full of free Figured Out promo goods, including the first batch of recordings.  Come party with us!  In other sessions, I have been working on some projects with a few local jazz artists.  More on this soon!

I also wanted to give a shout out to Joe Gjura, the photographer behind my recently uploaded promo shots.  He is a very talented photographer who has shot bands such as Mumford & Sons, Starfuckers, and Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros.  Check out some of his work here:  http://www.flickr.com/photos/8469576@N06/sets/

Happy Trails,

Greetings!  I hope everyone’s 2012 is off to a great start.  I contributed to more recordings in 2011 than in any preceding year. I am excited to present “Balboa’s Tale” by Brutal Force in the Music section.  In my opinion it is my best recorded performance to date and I also took on vocals in a few sections. Stephanie Meyers released her EP, Ophelia earlier this week.  I put “Double Edged Sword” and “21 Mistakes” in the “Music” section, and the full EP can be downloaded here: http://stephaniemeyers.bandcamp.com/album/ophelia

In other news, I decided to part ways with Edge of Paradise.  No bad blood, I wish them the best and had a blast working with them throughout 2011.  I am very excited to say that Red Betty is in its infancy, but rapidly moving forward.  Brandon Paul hired me during the latter half of last year to record six songs for his new project, and within the last month, Aaron Mann joined as Red Betty’s front man and Baris Ari as the band’s bassist.  Be prepared to be bombarded by some good old fashioned, hell raisin’ rock n’ roll in the coming months!

Until next time,

Greetings!  I am very excited to launch my new website, my sincerest thanks to your curiosity.  I have been investing my time into quite a few projects these days.  First and foremost, I am thrilled to announce the release of Edge of Paradise’s debut album, Mask.  It can be purchased hereand information about the band can be viewed on Edge Of Paradise website,(www.edgeofparadiseband.com).

I can’t wait to start touring on this album!  In other projects, I have been slaving away writing ethnic percussion parts for a new project entitled Figured Out.  I am sworn to secrecy about the album until the release date.  However, I can tell you this much: Figured Out will be unleashing a sound I can guarantee you has never been heard before, as the music is rooted in three seemingly unrelated genres of music with catchy hooks and bilingual lyrics.  I recently wrapped up recordings for Stephanie Meyers’s upcoming EP, which is now in postproduction.  I have also been writing and recording drum parts for Red Betty, a completely new band founded by former Brutal Force guitarist, Brandon Paul.  Keep your eyes and ears peeled for all of these upcoming releases and be sure to check out Edge of Paradise’s debut album.

Happy trails,
